Mumbai's water problem

With reference to pipe-lines bursts in Mumbai and the measures to be taken by government.

The most important point is, that the state government of Maharashtra treats Mumbai's water woes  as the sole responsibility of Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai ( ie BMC ) which is totally wrong.

It's a well-known fact that the central as well as the state government collect most of it's revenue  through the taxes paid by Mumbaikars. Resulting, Mumbai's problem must be solved jointly by the state , central govt, and MCGM ( ie  BMC )

The state and central government must allocate special grant / funds to MCGM ( ie BMC )  for repairing  and / or rebuilding of the worn-out pipe-lines in Mumbai.

The state and central government should provide adequate security to the pipeline in Mumbai  as it is the commercial capital of India.
